Hiller Lake(pink lake), Western Australia

Lake Hillier is a pink-coloured lake which is situated on Middle Island, the largest of the islands that form up the Recherche earth off the coast of Esperance.
From above the lake seems a solid bubble gum pink. Dense timberland of paperbark. A narrow strip of sand dunes coated by vegetation separates it from the blue Southern Ocean.
